Day 127 of 365 - Lord, you know all about me. You watched my bones grow while my body took shape, hidden in my mother’s body.

Psalm 139:1-18 says:

1Lord, you tested me. You know all about me. 2You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know my thoughts from far away. 3Lord, you know where I am going and when I am lying down. You know everything I do. 4Lord, you know what I want to say, even before the words leave my mouth.5Lord, you are all around me—in front and in back of me. You gently put your hand on me. 6I am amazed at what you know. It is too much for me to understand.7Your Spirit is in every place I go. Lord, I can’t escape you. 8Lord, if I go up to heaven, you are there. If I go down to the place of death, you are there. 9Lord, if I go east where the sun rises, you are there. If I go west to the sea, you are there.10Even there your right hand holds me, and you lead me by the hand. 11Lord, I might try to hide from you and say, “The day has changed to night. Surely the darkness will hide me.” 12But even darkness is not dark to you, Lord, The night is as bright as day to you. 13Lord, you made my whole body. You knew all about me while I was still in my mother’s body. 14Lord, I praise you! You made me in an amazing and wonderful way. I know very well that what you did is wonderful!15You know all about me. You watched my bones grow while my body took shape, hidden in my mother’s body. 16You watched my body parts grow. You listed them all in your book. You watched me every day. Not one of them {is missing}. 17Your thoughts are important to me. God, you know so much!18If I could count them, they would be more than all the grains of sand. And when I finished, I would still be with you. (Easy-to-Read Version)

King James Version: 1O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. 4For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. 5Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. 6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. 7Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. 13For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. 14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. 17How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
